  • Mechanisms of action

    Weakening of the cohesion of the stratum corneum by the AHAs to increase desquamation and thus accelerate cell renewal. As a result, in 4 weeks of treatment :

    ➔ the radiance of the complexion is boosted,

    ➔ the skin texture is refined,

    ➔ skin spots and imperfections (blackheads, acne scars, etc.) are reduced

    A new technology of release of active ingredients allows a better, progressive and controlled diffusion of AHAs from the surface of the skin. This technology makes it possible to use low concentrations of AHAs capable of matching the performance of highly concentrated conventional treatments while without the problems of irritation and inflammation.

    A synergy of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (glycolic acid, citric acid and lactic acid) is infused into a three-dimensional lamellar gel network derived from green chemistry (biomaterial).
     
     ➔ In vitro :
    • Reduction of scales with 50% increase versus 59% for AHAs 8% treatment 
    • Reduction of inflammation with an increase of 15% versus 68% for AHAs 8% treatment 
    • Increased performance with a performance index of 3.33 versus 0.86 for AHAs 8% treatment
     
     ➔ In vivo :
    • 100% increase in cell renewal after 12 days. 
    • Increase of 20% on average and up to 59% in the velvety aspect of the skin texture 
    • 31% increase on average and up to 88% increase in skin tone luminosity 
    • Increase of 15% on average and up to 131% in skin tone uniformity 
    • Decrease in the appearance of acne scars by 8% on average and up to 25%. 
    • 11% reduction on average and up to 33% reduction in the appearance of dark spots 
    • 43% reduction on average and up to 80% reduction in the number of blackheads 
    • No redness, no sensation of heating or tingling felt (sensation of irritation: 0.5/10).
