Increases the power of skin’s water retention for deep and even hydration of the different epidermis layers.
Mechanisms of action
➔ Stimulates aquaporins and improves the flow of moisture between the skin's various layers to hydrate them all evenly, thanks to low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid and Rosa Centifolia stem cells.

➔ Maintains the quantity and volume of water in the cells of the various layers of the epidermis, even in the event of "dehydrating" aggressions, thanks to the hydrating Osmoprotective Complex. It is the concept of aqua-homeostasis.

➔ Reinforcement of the cutaneous barrier to limit the insensible losses in water, thanks to :
- the Rosa Centifolia stem cells which support the creation of intercorneocyte lipids (free fatty acids, cholesterol, ceramides, etc.) thus contributing to maintain the cohesion between the corneocytes and thus with the reinforcement of the hydrolipidic barrier
- low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid, which stimulates the proteins involved in cell cohesion.

The “rose with the hundred leaves” or Rosa Centifolia, is resulting from a hybrid rose recognized as of the XIX century for its aromatic and medicinal virtues.

Increase of water retention in the epidermis from 22% to 15min and from 28% to 30min

Decrease of the transepidermal water loss from 30% to 15min, 27% to 30min

his complex mimics the osmoprotective system of the microalgae Platymonas Subcordiformis used to survive the alternating salinity of estuaries. It gathers two active ingredients with powerful hydrating power: erythritol and homarin HCL. The erythritol has a biotechnological Origin and the homarin HCL a synthetic origin.

➔ In-Vitro :

Under hypertonic aggression (osmotic pressure induces water to leave the cells, cells die): cells are more numerous -die less- by +81% and their size -inner water- is bigger by 91% compared to a sample not treated with the ingredient.

Under hypotonic aggression (osmotic pressure induces water to enter cells, cells swell, burst and die): cells are more numerous - die less - by +223% and their size -internal water- is smaller by 22% compared to a sample not treated with the ingredient.
